I found her on a podcast with one Adam Mills. I immediately subscribed to Adam‘s channel and began watching professional brewing with his “Brew Days” videos and his tutorials on different techniques around the brewery. Adam‘s kind demeanor and his conscious effort to be inclusive of both professional, and Homebrewer made me immediately at ease. I both learned about brewing and about the business of brewing and leadership. Adam’s open live stream and opportunities to ask questions gave me a lot of specific insight to areas that I needed to know to open our brewery. Adam also made an effort to get to know me and to offer specific advice based on our business model. With Adam‘s help we did eventually open our brewery Test Batches Brewing Inc. and this week we celebrate our second anniversary, which is a huge milestone in the brewing industry. Adam continues to be a huge supporter and a resource for me personally as we navigate the growth and development of our endeavor. I cannot recommend Adam’s knowledge and thoughtfulness and kindness enough. He is truly a gem in an industry that is challenging at times.
